Rihanna's New Found Love for River Island

River Island have announced that they are to collaborate with the much loved artist and style icon Rihanna. Designing her first exclusive clothing collection for the High Street retailer, her fans must now wait in eager to see what she has to offer because it won't be hitting stores until 2013!

Speaking about working with River Island, Rihanna said: “I’ve been wanting to design my own collection for some time. River Island is the perfect partner for me to collaborate with and working with a British, family run business also really appealed to me. I find London really inspiring and River Island loves to have fun with clothes. I’m looking forward to working with them and creating something really special.”

Rihanna's match with River Island looks to be a good one and I can see this going down well! 

GFW 2012: Barclays New Business Idea Award goes to...

It's been one year on since I picked up the award for the best 'New Business Idea' sponsored by Barclays. My reign is now over as the winner Hollie Reid from UCLAN takes the title for a great food recycling concept. The judges were wowed by her enthusiasm behind her idea, so congratulations to her!
